Room 18 Enviro News - Episode 1

Here it is hot off the press.... our first attempt at creating our own Enviro News show.  We worked hard to create our own graphics and do all the recording and reporting ourselves.  Next time we might be able to make our own music, for now Mrs Lee helped us chose a few tracks from iMovie to go with our broadcast.

We would love to hear your feedback on our first episode, please make a comment and let us know what you thought.

  10. A really informative news broadcast Room 18. I really liked how you collaborated and spoke clearly so that the viewer can hear these top tips. I will try to shorten my showers too. I agree with Chantelle that in winter it is cold and staying in a hot shower can keep you warm, but if I do that I am not conserving water or energy (the hot water uses a lot of power/energy). How many of your class mates now scooter or walk to school as a result of the scooter lessons?

Wow Room 18, what great reporting! I learnt a lot from all the important information you shared. I look forward to seeing some of you reporting the national news when you get older!

  12. AMAZING reporting Room 18. So many great messages about what we can do to be more environmentally friendly. Using less paper is something I am trying really hard to do. You have given me many more to think about also. Did any of these ideas come from the pledges you made with the Tread Lightly Caravan?
